Sticky & Saucy Beef Ribs

Recipe:

  1. Begin by preheating your oven to 240 Degrees Celsius in the fan-forced mode. This temperature will help to sear and brown the ribs initially.
  2. Season the ribs lightly with salt, white pepper powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and ground black pepper. These spices will enhance the natural flavors of the beef.
  3. Drizzle a bit of olive oil over the ribs. Rub it evenly over both sides of the ribs to ensure a thorough coating. This will assist the seasoning in adhering to the ribs and promote browning.
  4. Arrange the ribs on a wire rack and place them in the preheated oven. Let them roast for 5 minutes on each side. This will sear the surface and seal in the juices.
  5. After this initial cooking, remove the ribs from the oven. Lower the oven’s temperature to about 140 Degrees Celsius. This lower temperature will allow the ribs to cook slowly and become tender.
  6. Lay the ribs on a large sheet of aluminum foil. Make sure the foil is big enough to fully wrap the ribs. Drizzle your choice of barbeque sauce over the ribs. Use a basting brush to evenly distribute the sauce over the ribs.
  7. Wrap the saucy ribs with an additional two layers of foil. This seals in the sauce and heat, ensuring the ribs cook evenly and remain juicy. Return the ribs to the oven and continue baking for an additional 2 hours.
  8. After the ribs are cooked, allow them to rest in the foil for about 10 minutes. This resting time allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat. Unwrap the ribs, place them on a plate or serving dish, and drizzle with additional sauce. Let the ribs sit for a further 5 minutes to allow the sauce to permeate. Now, your Sticky & Saucy Beef Ribs are ready to be enjoyed.
