Chicken Wings

Chicken wings are cut from the wing or drum portion of the chicken. Hot chicken wings or buffalo chicken wings originated in the United States. This style of wing is usually deep-fried and coated with some type of barbecue or hot sauce. Chicken wings can be baked, fried or even barbecued to produce a tasty snack, meal or appetizer. You can serve chicken wings just plain, with buffalo sauces or even with sweeter flavors such as honey garlic for something different.

Baked Buffalo Wings:

Toss chicken wings in butter and preheat your oven to 200°F. Season chicken wings with salt and pepper and then spread wings of across a baking sheet and cook for 40 minutes. Turn the wings just once throughout the cook time. Add your favorite hot sauce to a bowl and toss the cooked wings to finish.

Grilled Teriyaki Chicken wings:

Mix oyster sauce, ketchup, sugar, teriyaki sauce and sugar together and marinate wings for eight hours or more in this mixture. If you add gin or whiskey to the sauce it really tenderizes the wings. Cook the wings on low heat, making sure to grease the grill before cooking. Brush wings with honey to add flavor.
